“As officers and men of the Nigeria Customs Service, we are the custodians of our nation’s borders, the guardians of trade facilitation, and the enforcers of fiscal policies. The roles we play impact the very fabric of Nigeria’s economic growth and security.
ACG Dangaladima charged officers to live above board while discharging their duties professionally. “Your elevation is a testament to your integrity, hard work, and alignment with the vision of this great service. However, with this new rank comes a challenge—a challenge to lead, inspire, and uphold the values of accountability, transparency, and efficiency.”
ACG Galandima asserted that their success largely depends on embracing modern technology, innovation, and selfless services in line with the fiscal policies of FG on trade facilitation.
He revealed that the success of the service depends on how well you adapt to challenges, leverage modern technology, and remain vigilant in combating smuggling, fraud, and other threats to national development. To the families and friends of our honorees, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. Your support, sacrifices, and encouragement have been instrumental in their journey.”
The climax of the event is the decoration of Comptrollers, Deputy Comptrollers, and Assistant Comptrollers from various commands under the zone.
