Political ‘Cloud’ Over Rivers State Will Soon Be Clear, Ndah Declares

Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications, Comrade Emmanuel Ndah, has expressed the hope that the prevailing political cloud over the state will soon be clear for Governor Siminialayi Fubara to provide good governance and take the state to greater heights.

 Comrade Ndah,  who made the declaration in his office in Port Harcourt when leaders and members of the Revival Social Club of Nigeria,  Obelle headquarters,  paid him a congratulatory visit recently,  saying that he is eternally grateful to God and Governor Siminialayi Fubara for his appointment.

The Permanent Secretary also used the occasion to express his heartfelt gratitude to the Commissioner of Information and Communications,  Warisenibo Joseph Johnson,  for the cordial working relationship and for being a wonderful boss,  calling on all well-meaning Nigerians, especially those residing in the State,  to give the Governor maximum support to make his government succeed.

The Permanent Secretary, who enjoined the Club to help him thank the Governor for the appointment, commended members of the Club for the visit, describing it as “a big honour.”

In his address, the Chairman of the Club, Chinedu Ogundu, said that the club has come to rejoice with and to congratulate him on his appointment, thanking Governor Siminialayi Fubara for finding their friend and brother fit for such an exalted office.

Ogundu reiterated that, seeing the kind of governance and development that is being witnessed under the leadership of Sir Siminialayi Fubara, the club will not only support his administration but will always do all within its power to garner more support for the governor wherever their members find themselves.

A statement made available to journalists by the Publications Department of the Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications in Port Harcourt revealed that a highlight of the visit was the presentation of a portrait to the Permanent Secretary by members of the Club.
