NIMASA, SOAN Pledge to Collaborate on Maritime Development

The Shipowners Association of Nigeria (SOAN) has praised the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) for its institutional reforms, which have strengthened the maritime sector. The SOAN President, Mr. Sonny Eja, made the commendation during a working visit to NIMASA, reaffirming the association’s commitment to partnering with the agency to develop the maritime industry, particularly in fleet expansion. The NIMASA Director General, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, emphasised the importance of collaboration and shared capacity development for industry growth.

The visit brought together NIMASA management and the SOAN Executives, highlighting a shared commitment to deeper collaboration and capacity building across Nigeria’s maritime industry.
