NDC Debunks Fake Candidate Lists, Says INEC Already Has Authentic Names

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has disowned viral candidate lists for Imo, Abia, Anambra and other states, calling them fake and unauthorised. National Secretary Barrister Ikenna Alex-Morgan Enekweizu said Thursday that the lists did not come from party headquarters and urged members to ignore them.

He confirmed the authentic list has been submitted to INEC through proper channels as required by the Electoral Act. The party accused mischief makers of spreading the false lists to cause confusion and weaken internal unity. Investigations are ongoing to trace the source.

NDC urged members to stay focused, saying it remains committed to building a strong platform for Nigeria’s challenges.
