Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Professor Suleiman Bogoro has said the agency’s Board of Trustees (BoT) had recommended to President Muhammadu Buhari to establish centres of excellence on diary research and development in public universities.
He made the disclosure in Bauchi during the 45th yearly conference of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU).
If approved, the centre is to improve food security, diary research and development, plant breeding as well as soil science, among others.
