This time a Togolize

A Togolize, Miss Kaifi Kayode, age 24 years of No. 4 Jazz Street Ayetoro Ijanikin committed suicide by drinking Snipper, a poisonous substance which has become the darling of the depressed and persecuted.

The younger sister of the deceased, Favour Portphy who reported the incident to the Ijanikin Divisional Police Officer CSP Akinroye Kabiru Adesina said she decided to check on the elder sister at about 1.00pm when she did hear from Kaifi, on getting there, the room was locked, she had to force the door open and saw the sister lying on the ground dead with the container of Snipper which she had apparently drank lying by her side.

According to Portphy, Kaify may have taken the poisonous substance due to fear of being called a thief because, someone stole the sum of N7,000 from the mother’s shop, being proceeds from the days sales as there was also a similar incident the previous week which may have unsettled Kaifi leading to her suicide, the sister lamented.

Confirming the incident, DSP Bala Elkana, the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command disclosed that the corpse has been deposited in the mortuary for further investigations.

In the same vein, it was also reported that Miss Favour Ekemudili, committed suicide by drinking a substance suspected to be Snipper insecticide.

The New Experience reports that the incident happened at Sedar College in Baruwa Area of Ipaja where the school is located. D.S.P Bala Elkana said that on 30^th May 2019 at about 17.50hrs Ipaja Police Station received a complaint from Sedar College Baruwa that on the same date at about 9am one Favour Ekemedili an SS1 student complained of severe stomach ache and was rushed to the school sick bay.

She was immediately moved to the General Hospital, which in turn referred her to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, where she was admitted for medical attention.

Elkana explained that the victim’s parents were contacted by the school authority. Favour eventually died at about 5pm while receiving treatment.

Police Spokesman said her friends who witnessed the incident, stated that the stomach ache started after the girl reportedly took FAN JUICE. It was discovered that the bottle contained Snipper chemical not juice. The chemical substance was confirmed in the labouratory.

Elkana disclosed that Homicide Detectives from the state criminal investigation department are investigating the case.

Afeez Hanafi also died of the poisonous substance, a student of Lagos State Polytechnic Ikorodu due to disagreement with his lover for an undisclosed matter by taking a small quantity of Snipper insecticide. He was rushed to the hospital but died before the doctor could attend to him while the Police operatives of Homicide Department Panti Lagos were still investigating why Hanafi died by drinking the substance, another tragedy occurred.

A 34 years old, king Ezekiel Mayowa, drank the same Snipper substance and died because his lover jilted him after nine years of relationship.

Snipper the organ eating liquid monster is a dichlorovinyl dimethyl phospaphate compound produced by Ndi Swiss Nigeria Chemical Compound.

The substance Snipper is meant for house hold pests, ants, roaches, bugs and other insects but these days, it seems to make suicide mission easy. Many who are frustrated in their businesses, marriages and other relationships see Snipper as a quick way to end their frustrations.
