Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State has raised an 18-member inauguration panel to swear in governor-elect, Professor Babagana Umara, at Ramat Square, Maiduguri.
In a statement yesterday in Maiduguri, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Usman Jidda Shuwa, said Shettima had directed members of State Executive Council (SEC) to handover to their respective permanent secretaries on or before tomorrow, May 28, 2019.
According to him, the panel members, who were expected to hold their inaugural meeting by 2:00pm, are to ensure that all handing and taking over notes are obtained and compiled into volumes for presentation during the handing over ceremony.
