Punctuality Award: Nigerian Shippers’ Council Recognizes Outstanding Performance

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council has taken a significant step in promoting punctuality and efficiency in the maritime industry, hosting the Punctuality Award ceremony, which was facilitated by the NSC SERVICOM Unit at its Lagos headquarters recently .

The Executive Secretary and CEO of NSC, Barr. Pius Akutah, MON, who was represented by the Director of Human Resources Management, Mrs. Adaku Okam, applauded the awardees for their commitment to punctuality and urged them to sustain the standard they had set. She also encouraged other bus routes to emulate the winners, emphasizing that achieving such recognition requires dedication and hard work.

Mr. Yusuf Adebare, Mr. Kennedy Lawson, and Mrs. Folashade Ajayi received individual punctuality awards, emerging in first, second, and third positions, respectively.

While the beneficiaries of the group award were Ajah bus route driver and occupants in the first position, Okoko and Iyana-Ipaja routes came in the second position, and Festac route got the fourth position.

The Council also extended its recognition to Corps Members and Industrial Training students for their exemplary performances.

The corps members, Odejegba Rume, Fatunbi Oluwabunmi, and Ababa Doubra Hillary, attained the first, second, and third positions, respectively. While the IT students, Tetmut Rejoice Dapar and Balogun Miriam came first and second, respectively.

Speaking on behalf of the awardees, Mrs. Folashade Ajayi expressed gratitude to the Executive Secretary for his support and praised her fellow recipients for their dedication. She encouraged everyone to remain disciplined and strive for excellence.
