The Ports Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has declared a revenue of N204,725,634,459.55 for the first half of 2025. This represents a 34.1% increase from the N152,648,517,532.05 recorded in the same period in 2024.

According to Comptroller Tenny Daniyan, the Area Controller of PTML Customs, the revenue growth is attributed to the introduction of the B’Odogwu platform. Since its rollout on November 11, 2024, the platform has generated N301,890,791,315.50 in revenue.

The command has also seen significant improvements in trade facilitation, with cargo clearance times averaging two hours in line with the Time Release Study (TRS). Comptroller Daniyan noted that the command has received 52 vessels, 13,431 containers, and completed 30,400 assessments between January and June 2025.

The PTML Command has intensified stakeholder engagement and training sessions for officers and customs agents to ensure seamless implementation of the B’Odogwu platform. Comptroller Daniyan expressed gratitude to the Comptroller-General of Customs for designating PTML as the pilot area for the B’Odogwu rollout, describing the platform as a revolutionary home-grown trade platform that has become an enduring legacy for trade facilitation and revenue collection.
