President Muhammadu Buhari promised that his administration would invest more in infrastructure, expressing happiness over the positive results of previous spending.
Buhari, who was speaking during the commissioning of the reconstructed Shinkafi-Yandaki-Gafiya-Abdallawa-Dankaba road in Katsina State, noted that “infrastructure is vital to economic development.”
In a statement yesterday in Abuja by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President commended Governor Aminu Bello Masari for making the roads motorable all-year round.
The host said his government “had all along been mindful of the need for infrastructure development across the nooks and crannies of the state.”
He submitted that the economy of the state and wellbeing of the people had improved with the focus on infrastructure.
