Police arrest 14 suspected kidnappers in Nasarawa State

The Nasarawa State police command has arrested 14 suspected kidnappers along Mararaba/Odege road in Nasarawa Council.

The Commissioner of Police, Bola Longe, said the arrest was made possible following a tip-off from members of the public.

Longe gave the hint while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Lafia.

He also hinted that some kidnap victims had identified some of the suspects as those that held them hostage till ransom was paid.

Similarly, the command has also launched Operation Puff Adder to flush criminals out of the state.

“The Operation Puff Adder is aimed at re-dominating and re-claiming the public space from heinous criminal elements that are bent on threatening the nation’s security.
