Senator Shehu Sani that represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, has said that people are appreciating the little things they took for granted.
On his social media page, the senator urged the super powers to retrace their steps after the pandemic.
For him, until the vaccine to the virus is created, life cannot go back to normal.
His words, “Until a vaccine is developed and made available to all, life cannot go back to ‘the old normal’.
“Today human beings are appreciating those little things they hitherto took for granted.”
According to him, COVID-19 is taking lives, crashing economies and stocking up social tension, adding that the earlier we get out of this the better for the peace and stability of our planet.
“There will definitely be revolt and convulsions globally if this situation prolongs.
“This is actually our moment of truth. We have pilled enough missiles, rockets and guns to fight others, and now we only need ventilators, sanitisers and masks to protect ourselves.”
