Oil marketers seek inclusion in downstream automation panel

The Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has called for the expanded membership of the inter-agency committee on downstream automation with full recognition of its members.

IPMAN Chairman, Kano Unit, comprising Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Bauchi and Yobe states, Alhaji Bashir DanMallam, made the call yesterday while addressing newsmen in Kano.

DanMallam, who applauded the recent automation of the downstream sector by the Federal Government and the inauguration of the interagency committee in Lagos, regretted the non-inclusion of some major stakeholders, including the independent marketers.
