The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has warned parents, guardians and corps members against failing victims to fake persons who promise deployments and redeployments to states.
Raising the alarm over the activities of these individuals who operate through an online advertisement titled: “Henroozy Koncept” in a statement by its Coordinator, Southwest Area Office, Emmanuel Attah, the NYSC said the shady act, currently advertised in fliers, was fraudulent and criminal.
Attah stated that the corps had never authorised any groups, organisations or individuals to perform that functions or any other on its behalf.
He clarified that mobilisations and redeployments are done exclusively by the NYSC based on statutory provisions and compliance with federal character, unity and peaceful coexistence of Nigeria.
