Nigerians Benefit from SIFAX Group’s Healthcare, Vocational Training, and Empowerment Programs

SIFAX Group has positively impacted the lives of approximately 3,500 vulnerable Nigerians through its corporate social responsibility initiatives between July and August 2025. The company’s philanthropic arm, the Ajoke Ayisat Afolabi Foundation, partnered with other organizations to support 3,083 individuals nationwide in July, providing healthcare services to 639 people in Lagos, Isade, and Zaria, as well as vocational training to 1,398 women, girls, and boys.
Some notable initiatives include
Healthcare Support: 639 people received free healthcare services in Lagos, Isade, and Zaria.
Vocational Training: 1,398 individuals were trained in skills like crocheting, tailoring, shoemaking, and bag-making
Trader Empowerment: Petty traders in Umuahia received one-day training ahead of an interest-free loan scheme, while 10 traders in Zaria were empowered. Community Development: A borehole was constructed in the Agbelekale community, Lagos, providing residents with access to clean water
Support for Returnees: Essential items were distributed to 750 voluntary returnees from abroad in collaboration with the World Bank and NCFRMI.
In August, SIFAX Group partnered with NIDSMET Services to train 500 youths in Lagos in skills like confectionery, catering, textile design, and event management. The company’s Group Head, Corporate Communications, Mr. Olumuyiwa Akande, emphasized that SIFAX Group’s philosophy extends beyond profit-making to philanthropy and creating sustainable pathways for economic growth.
