The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by donating essential supplies, including medications and food items, to a community in Osun State. This gesture is part of the Council’s efforts to give back to society and improve the lives of Nigerians. The donation is expected to bring relief to the community, particularly the vulnerable members who struggle to access necessities.
The agency reportedly donated medical equipment worth millions of naira to the MDG Okotie Lagbua Primary Health Centre in Itagbiji in Osun State to enhance healthcare delivery. Over 300 residents benefited from the distribution of food items aimed at improving their quality of life.
During his remarks at the gathering, the Executive Secretary/CEO, who was represented by the Director of Special Duties, Mr. Zubairu Mustapha, reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to addressing critical community needs through impactful corporate social responsibility initiatives.
