“Nigeria Customs Service Revitalizes Public Relations Units for Enhanced Stakeholder Engagement

To enhance its public image and stakeholder engagement, the Nigeria Customs Service has embarked on a comprehensive overhaul of its public relations units across all commands. This strategic initiative aims to reposition the service’s communication strategy, foster greater transparency, and strengthen relationships with the public and other stakeholders.

The national public relations officer of customs is Abdullahi Maiwada, the Apapa Command PRO, Abubakar Usman, and the PTML Command spokesman, Yakubu Mohammed.

According to the spokesman of the Customs service, TinCan Command of the Nigeria Customs Service now has Superintendent of Customs Oscar Ivara, PTML Command has Superintendent of Customs AT Abubakar, while Apapa Command has SC JT Ayagbalo.

6. CSC M Abdullahi moved from Niger/Kogi to HQ as Assistant National PRO
7. CSC VU Ogabor was moved from MMIAC to KLT
8. CSC I Sulieman moved from FOU B to Seme
9. CSC TY Balarabe moved from Katsina to Kano/Jigawa
10. SC AU Momodu moved from Training College to MMIAC
11. SC O Ivara moved from PH I to TCIP
12. SC JT Ayagbalo moved from KLT to Apapa
13. SC AT Abubakar was moved from Sokoto/Zamfara to PTML
14. DSC Z Chado moved from Kwara to Ogun I Idiroko
15. DSC SM Sulieman from PH II to Kwara”
