The Niger State Government is taking steps to curb boat mishaps by sanctioning and prosecuting boat operators who don’t comply with life-jacket usage. Commissioner of Transport Hajiya Hadiza Idris Kuta announced this during a visit to Guni in Munya Local Government Area, where she condoled with families of victims of a recent boat mishap in Zumba.
