*New Era for SanlamAllianz General Insurance as Agweh Assumes Top Role*

SanlamAllianz General Insurance has appointed Mrs. Jacqueline Uche Agweh as its new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, effective February 11, 2026. With over three decades of industry experience, Agweh brings a wealth of expertise in underwriting, claims management, reinsurance, and technical operations to her new role.
Prior to her appointment, Agweh served as Executive Director, Technical Operations at SanlamAllianz General Insurance. She has also held senior management roles at FBN General Insurance, Oasis Insurance Plc, and other leading institutions in the industry.
Agweh is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FCIIN) and an alumna of the Lagos Business School. She has received multiple industry awards, including the FBN General Insurance Chairman’s Gold Award for Leadership.
