That was the goal of the management of Nestle Nigeria to address not only food scarcity but also to empower rural women in the country
Nestle recently came out with relaunch of Maggi Chicken Flavour Cubes with New Improved Taste and Double Cubes to the delights of every Nestle products home users
Speaking during the relaunching, the Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Nigeria, Wassim Elhusseini, said, “We are excited to announce the relaunch of MAGGI Chicken Flavour Seasoning Cubes to bring an enhanced culinary experience to Nigerian consumers.
“With the double cube format, we are on a journey to reduce packaging used in our production process by 25%. This approach is part of Nestlé’s ongoing efforts to protect our planet. We remain committed to growing our business in Nigeria sustainably.”
MAGGI Category Manager at Nestlé Nigeria, Rahamatou Palm Zakari-Adamou, on his part ,pointed out that “We are dedicated to providing seasoning cubes that enhance mealtimes for millions of Nigerian families. MAGGI has been a part of Nigerian cuisine for decades and is committed to always deliver delicious taste and aroma as well as remain a trusted ally to the Cooks.

With the launch of this new project, Nestlé’s aim is to make significant contributions to the wellbeing of Nigerians.
In the first phase of the project titled “Nestlé Empowering Rural Women in Nigeria”, the company will provide three times the monthly turnover of each of the 50 selected female retailers in form of Nestlé products.
Nestlé Nigeria’s Commercial Manager, Mr. Khaled Ramadan speaking said: “Nestlé Empowering Rural Women in Nigeria” is aimed at making significant contributions to the well-being of the 50 retailers selected in this first phase, who already have a business relationship with Nestlé.”
