NBM mobilises to advance democracy at 41st convention

To strengthen Nigeria’s democracy, the Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM) is assembling the best of minds to advance civil rule in the country at its 15^th lecture and 41^st national convention holding from the 11^th to 14^th of this month in Abuja.

In a statement, the group’s national president, Chief Felix Kupa, noted that the programmes promise much for the advancement of good governance nationwide and on the African continent.

According to him, a workable blueprint would be shared among stakeholders to keep the dream alive.

Kupa stressed that other issues like extra-judicial killings in the wake of the fresh murder by the police of Kolade Johnson in Lagos and related deaths in Zamfara and others would equally get attention.

He said: “Consistent with tradition, NBM will be visiting the National Assembly, IDP camps and other areas of interest to promote the group’s objectives of social justice and equality for all.

“There will be sports competitions covering football, golf and chess. Cultural events will also be showcased to promote Africa’s beauty and values.”
