Man, 40 Arrested For Defiling His Neighbour’s 11 Year-Old Daughter At Bariga

On June 25, 2020 at 1630 hours, a 35 years old woman (name withheld) reported at Bariga Police Station, that her 11 years old daughter (name withheld) was defiled by her neighbor, Imoh Edet ‘m’ 40 years old of Oyekainle Street, Bariga.  That whenever the suspect wants to have sexual intercourse with the survivor, he will call her out to his room, under the guise of sending her on an errand.  Operatives from Bariga arrested the suspect who confessed having sexual intercourse with the minor for up to six times. The survivor was taken to hospital for medical attention and forensic examination. The suspect will be charged to Court.
