MAJAN CONGRATULATE HADIZA BALA USMAN RE-APPOINTMENT AS NPA MD.

Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (MAJAN) congratulated Hadiza Bala Usman on her re-appointment as the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), for the second term of five years.

Speaking on behalf of the Association, The President of MAJAN,  Comrade Ugochukwu described her re-appointment as an honour well deserved.

According to him, Her re-appointment will ensure continuity in policies implementation geared towards the development of the port industry in Nigeria.
Ugochukwu mentioned perennial traffic gridlock on ports access roads as one of the major tasks before NPA.
He, therefore, called on port users and relevant stakeholders in the maritime industry to support NPA in ensuring that the port industry is well re-positioned for greater productivity.
He said, As a regulatory agency in the maritime sector, NPA is saddled with enormous tasks and stakeholders Should work in synergy with the Agency to move the industry to a greater height.
