The Lubricants Producers’ Association of Nigeria (LUPAN) has restated its support to the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) in its fight against substandard lubricants and other items in the country.
Leadership of the association stated this during a visit to the Director General (DG) of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Mallam Farouk Salim at the SON Corporate Headquarters in Abuja recently.
While welcoming the visitors, the DG acknowledged SON’s existing collaborative relationship with LUPAN and appreciated the association’s efforts in the facilitation of a friendly business environment for the industry.
Leader of the LUPAN Delegation, Alhaji Mustapha Ado Muhammad, thanked the DG SON for his hospitality and for leading the fight against production of substandard lubricants in Nigeria.
Another member of LUPAN, Chief Daniel Chukwudozie also applauded SON’s efforts in promoting ease of doing business in Nigeria as it relates to the Lubrication Oil Industry.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of three Ford Pickup Utility Vehicles by LUPAN to the Director General of SON, during which the association stated that the donation of the vehicles was aimed at boosting SON’s operational efficiency.
