Lagos Politician debunked arrest, says he has always maintain peace with teeming followers

The Oluomo of Isheri-Olofin Kingdom in Alimosho Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Prince Idris Balogun, has debunked the flying rumours in the social media that he was arrested and detained at the State Command,but rather says he remains peaceful with his teeming followers in the constituency.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, he said that as law abiding citizen of Nigeria,I have tried and maintained the popular Yoruba adage that says ” One should remember the son of whom you are”

The reason for the threat to his life was ostensibly as a result of his ambition to remove his people from economic and political bondage and provide them qualitative representation.

According to him, his aspiration, which is constitutional, is now being seen as an affront by some powers that be in the constituency.

“My intention as a youthful and energetic politician is to offer my people good and effective legislative representation through feedback mechanism than what they are presently experiencing .

“Balogun said come 2023 if he is given the mandate to represent his people in Abuja he promise his constitutes quarterly empowerment to his people.

I will ensure an open door policy where my people will be free to express their challenges.

However i will also maintained closeness with the youths.

My representation will be in the area of cash empowerment, provision of granding machine, sewing machine and buses to aid their movement.

We shall open agricultural cooperative society because agriculture is a good source of income and employment for the youths

I will also partner with neighbouring State like Ogun and Oyo for provision arable land for farming with a modern hostel facilities

A bus will be provided to transport them from the hostel to the farm he said.
