The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board (KSPWB) has said induction programme for the 2019 intending pilgrims commences tomorrow.
Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Abba Muhammad Dambatta, disclosed this yesterday during a media briefing at the board’s office.
Dambatta explained that routine activities designed to educate intending pilgrims on rudiments of the spiritual exercise would hold twice weekly for four weeks before the Month of Ramadan.
He said the exercise would, however, be decentralised across the local government areas of the state on daily basis during Ramadan.
He reminded prospective pilgrims yet to balance their initial deposits of N1.2 million before Ramadan, saying arrangements for pilgrims’ accommodation, feeding, health and transportation at Saudi Arabia have already been concluded.
Dambatta said: “Let me use this opportunity to inform all intending pilgrims that we are commencing induction exercise for this year’s Hajj. I urge all who paid their deposits or paid for their loved ones to converge at the venue.”
