Kaduna Area Command Fosters Robust Inter-Agency Synergy to Enhance National Security

The Nigeria Customs Service, Kaduna Area Command, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration and fostering robust inter-agency synergy with sister security agencies across Kaduna State. Under the leadership of Comptroller Sa’ad Garba Hassan, the Command has been engaging with heads of security and law enforcement agencies within the state to deepen cooperation and enhance operational effectiveness.
The Controller’s courtesy visits to the Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command; the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Kaduna; the State Director, State Security Service (SSS), Kaduna State; and other security agencies underscore the importance of cooperation and information sharing in achieving national security objectives.
Comptroller Hassan emphasised that the Nigeria Customs Service cannot operate in isolation, especially in the face of evolving security challenges, smuggling networks, and economic sabotage. He noted that sustained collaboration among security agencies remains critical for enhanced operational success, intelligence-driven enforcement, and improved service delivery to Nigerians.
The heads of the respective agencies have welcomed the Controller’s initiative, pledging continued support to the Nigeria Customs Service and assuring him of their readiness to explore new areas of collaboration, enhance intelligence sharing, and participate in joint operational initiatives aimed at safeguarding the nation’s economic growth and security interests.
