“On behalf of the entire team at the Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM), I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Abimbola Oyetunde on her historic election as the first female Deputy National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). This landmark achievement underscores her exceptional leadership, dedication, and tireless commitment to the advancement of journalism and the Union’s ideals.
As the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Bronze FM, Edo State; a former Secretary of the Lagos State NUJ; and a former member of the NUJ Board of Trustees, Oyetunde has consistently demonstrated professional excellence. Her unanimous victory reflects the confidence reposed in her abilities and vision.
Dr. Oyetunde has also been a steadfast member of JIFORM, contributing significantly during her tenure as Vice President. Her participation and representation at our summits in Ghana, the United States, Canada, and other nations have inspired many in the media industry.
