Jaiz Bank secures N3 billion MSMEs facility from Bank of Industry

Jaiz Bank PLC has secured a N3 billion facility from the Bank of Industry (BOI) to boost, develop and expand Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.

The funds would be lend to small business operators to grow their businesses and create wealth, Jaiz Bamk Managing Director/CEO Hassan Usman said in Abuja yesterday.

Receiving the cheque from BOI’s Executive Director, Shekarau Omar, at the bank’s office, Hassan Usman, assured that the funds would be disbursed to targeted beneficiaries.

Hassan said: “Fundamental to the vision and mission of Jaiz Bank is to create wealth for MSMEs. I assure you that stakeholders will get maximum benefits.”

Speaking, Omar said part of the reasons for providing the facility to Jaiz Bank was the conviction that the funds will be disbursed to the target group.
