FG to spend N100m for erosion, road projects in Nasarawa

Minister of State for Science and Technology, Mohammed Abdullahi, has disclosed that the Federal Government will spend N100m on erosion and road projects in Roguwa and Saka communities, Karu Council Area of Nasarawa State.

Abdullahi, who stated this during the inauguration and handing over of the erosion and road projects at Gora-Roguwa, said the projects were among the 15 ecological intervention schemes awarded by President Muhammadu Buhari for the second quarter.

He said it followed approval of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on November 16, 2018 with a completion timeline of 24 weeks.

The minister said the project, which was initiated through a request from the Nasarawa State Government, would address erosion and flood in the communities.
