Edo APC guber aspirant, Ize-iyamu pledges support for credible primary

A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu at the weekend assured that there will be no hard feelings should he lose in the party’s primary scheduled for June.

In a statement issued by his campaign organisation in Benin City, he said he has resolved to offer full support to whoever emerges winner at the primary, adding that he would abide by the party’s decision of the process.

He, however, expressed full confidence in the wisdom and foresight of the party to elect the right candidate and urged his supporters and others to throw their weight behind the state in the fight against COVID-19.

“As I have told my followers across the state before, this is not the time to throw jibes or disrespect the aspirants or members of the party.

“We must regard each other with peace, love and respect, knowing that at the end of the day, our desire for a better Edo is the same,” he said.
