Delta begins online registration for students’ scholarship scheme

The Delta State government will from today commence online registration for the 2019/2020 Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS).

According to the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, the process, which will run till February, will only be applicable to students of the state origin who have registered with the National Identification Management Commission (NIMC).

Executive Secretary of the Board, Sunday Orishedere, in a statement signed its Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Chika Opiah, stated that eligible candidates must either be in second year or above in a university or Ordinary National Diploma (OND ll) and Higher National Diploma (HND II) in a Polytechnics.

Orishedere, further stated that applicant Colleges of Education with a Cumulative Grade Points Average

(CGPA) of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year, must be in 200 level and above, adding, “All eligible students are advised to log on to www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng to apply.”
