CONMMEP Roundtable: Primero Transport Services to Partner with FG on CNG Conversion for BRT Buses

Fola Tinubu, CEO of Primero Transport Services, has announced a potential partnership with the Federal Government to convert 200 BRT buses to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). This initiative aims to reduce transportation costs in Lagos.

Speaking at the CONMMEP roundtable in Lagos, Tinubu highlighted Primero’s efforts to enhance efficiency, including introducing WiFi on buses and electronic ticketing. With a fleet of 435 buses managing Lagos’s BRT system, Tinubu emphasized the need for political will to remove transport subsidies and achieve a world-class public transport system.

He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a modern, efficient, and affordable transportation system in Lagos. The event concluded with CONMMEP executives presenting a certificate of appreciation to Fola Tinubu.
