Border closure a means to diversify the economy, says Delta government

Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor, Raymond Mbakpor, has commended the relief team for its proactive steps to curtain the scourge in the state.

He urged the people to prioritise social distancing orders of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to check spread of the disease.

His words: “I want to thank all citizens for their resilience, commitment and steadfastness since this virus spread menace in Nigeria.

“It is also imperative that citizens should neither panic nor entertain any fear, but follow up the preventive measures and updates as well as pray to God to guide and protect us all from any spell of this virus contact, as it shall soon a thing of the past.”
