The new General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Gen. Abdul Ibrahim, has unfolded a fresh strategy under the Super Camps concept to end insurgency in North East.
According to him, the measures are to deploy fighting powers on wheels to emergency response areas of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states.
Ibrahim spoke yesterday while addressing troops at the Damboa front lines in Borno State.
He said the move was to force the terrorists to surrender and restore economic activities with increased surveillance and intelligence sharing.
The military commander added that these strategic areas are to be manned by soldiers on wheels.
