The Area 2 Command, Onne, has emerged as a shining example of excellence in anti-smuggling activities, earning the prestigious award for Best Anti-Smuggling Unit at the recent CGC Awards and Gala Night. This recognition is a testament to the command’s tireless efforts in combating smuggling and protecting Nigeria’s borders.

Speaking on the award, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Mohammed Babandede, says it was a team effort, as he could not have done it alone if not for the role every officer and men in the Command played in ensuring public health and safety of lives

He appreciates every officer and man of the Command for their contribution towards making the country safe.
