Ambassador Babalola urged Nigeria youths to support the present Govt.

The President of Nigeria People’s Voice (NPV) Ambassador Ade Babalola has urged Nigerian youths to support the present government positive changes and development currently ongoing even as the country and the world is battling with the Nova coronavirus.

Babalola made this known in an interview saying selfish and some miscreants with bad intentions are misleading the youths in the wrong direction against the present administration in the country.

I humbly make a passionate appeal to the youths not to succumb to devilish intention.

Babalola enjoins the Youths to give the President the maximum support that is needed in bringing positive change so that Nigerians will have a better environment to live in.

He itemizes the overwhelming achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in the area of roads, rail transportation, electricity and boosting of the agriculture sector, women empowerment among others.

“My appeal goes directly to the Youths of Nigeria.

On the issue of security, Babalola opined that our security agencies like the military, the Nigeria Police force and all others are advised to have a meaningful budget for them to effectively participate in their various areas of professionalism.

“All our traditional rulers should also be involved in safeguarding their various district and Community.

“Government at all levels must form an effective synergy between themselves and the traditional rulers in their domain”. He said

Babalola delved into the election issue and urges INEC to allow two-party systems as it is done in developed countries.

Having up to 91 political parties will not bring credibility to our electoral system he said.

He believes multiple party systems in Nigeria cannot produce or boost having a single elected ward councillor, local government chairman, state house of assembly and the federal house of representatives.

“We need to focus on two political parties to reduce expenditure in-cure by INEC and the government”.

In his concluding remarks, on the reopening of the border, he said the government had good intentions for closing the border ab-initio. The step was needed to encourage farming and to reduce overdependence on crude oil.

“When farmers are many on the farm, this would lead to enough food sufficiency in the country”. He asserted.
