Ajayi Crowther varsity confers honorary doctorate on SIFAX Group chairman Afolabi
Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, has been honored with an honorary doctorate in business administration by Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State.
Management of the university said Afolabi was conferred with an honorary degree to recognize him for his immense contributions to the advancement of the maritime sector and the nation’s economy at large.
It added that the conferment of honorary degrees on Afolabi and other deserving awardees was part of activities to mark the university’s 15th convocation ceremony and encourage other Nigerians to contribute their quota to the overall development of the country in all sectors.
The Chairman of SIFAX Group, his wife, Mrs. Folashade Afolabi, and top management staff of the company, among others, attended the colorful ceremony.
