Abia State govt set to promote 941 workers

No fewer than 941 workers in Abia State Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are now due for 2018 promotions, while another 333 and 442 are for confirmation and conversion respectively.

Head of Service, Onyii Wamah, who confirmed this, said it was based on their success in the 2018 yearly promotion examination.

He said that the promotion examination was a test of knowledge geared not to ridicule or humiliate the workforce but to prove their suitability for the next position/office they aspire to occupy if successful in the public service examination.
