One of the richest and most influential women in the United States of America (USA), Oprah Winfrey started her career as a news anchor and blossomed into a full blown entrepreneur.

It is an established fact that small business owners have to experience some challenges even in the best of times, which is why a vast majority of small businesses fail if their owners ignore the signs early enough.
As such, when companies and successful business empires have succeeded and grown big, the entrepreneurs behind the successes are often seen as extraordinary and sometimes larger than life.

After all when some small businesses fail or succeed, for some it becomes a matter of reliance on partners’ determination and feedback from close partners, while for others, it is determination, superior knowledge and perseverance, being bold, taking risks and trying things that have never been done before.
Therefore, there is no single list of greatest entrepreneurs, as many talented businessmen and businesswomen have contributed to the sustenance of the economy and society today.
President of Sirchuks Greenland Foundation, Mr. Peter Chukwuma Eze, is one of those who have built vast business empire in several industries

Nigeria is endowed with different kinds of natural, mineral and human resources including smart, hardworking and decisive individuals who have earned a reputation in entrepreneurship.  Apart from the wealth of the successful entrepreneurs in Nigeria, they have also influenced society with their entrepreneurial skills.

Peter Chukwuma Eze is one of such few Nigerians. He was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Eze on October 12, 1984 in Uturu, Abia State. He started his early education in Uturu Primary and Secondary schools and later attended Queen of Apostle Okigwe Anambra State University, where he graduated with a B.sc in Political Science.
It would be recalled that upon the creation of Abia from the old Imo State in 1991, Uturu Campus of the then Imo State University was ceded to Abia State and is now known as Abia State University, Uturu in Isuikwato Local Government Area of the state.
Sirchuks, as he is now popularly known, was a gifted football player, who played well when he traveled for trials in Russia, but he delved into business due to language constraints and became successful. Sirchuks firmly believe that people who desire to be successful should have their heart in it and see new opportunities everywhere.

He stressed that this belief propelled him to real estate and logistics and quality wears business, which culminated in founding the Sirchuks Greenland Foundation to assist the society in his little way because he feels government alone could do everything for the people.

He said he was privileged to help those in need and recalled that while growing up, he saw how people and some parents in his community suffered to feed and train their children, adding that some people die due hunger and lack of medical care  and that elders, children, men and women die from lack of medical care.
Peter, who promised and prayed to God because he is also a prayer warrior and a firm believer of God, maintained that if the Almighty God blesses him he will give it back to God by helping the poor.

“That is why I founded Sirchuks Greenland Foundation to assist the needy in society in the course of my work. The foundation has done so much for society and we have not stopped until eternity. That is what I promised my God that if He blesses me with more of His abundance, I will do more.
It flagged off the construction of a multi-purpose bridge across Ihuku River in Owerri-Isunabo Abia State, installed a solar light in the major streets to prevent more deaths due to lack of visibility, as one of the sons of the community was killed on the road to his village by hoodlums,” he said.

Peter Chukwuma Eze who is married to Victoria Eze, said Sirchuks Greenland Foundation has paid school fees of secondary and university students and provided scholarships to indigents students.
“We have also carried out successful eye surgery for people with eye problems and gave palliatives periodically to the remote areas of the communities visited. For instance, Cadosso Street on old Ojo road Lagos and its environs is one area that has benefited from our outreaches outside my community. We are also planning to reach other states in the North if the security situation in the country improves
“the less privileged are not left out, salaries for the elderly are being given monthly, while different kinds of palliative periodically for the less privileged in Nigeria and abroad where I have visited,” he added.
On the living conditions and the situation in Russia and why he has not relocated to other parts of the world due to the war between Russia and Ukraine since he resides in Russia where he also ekes out a living through his business because he couldn’t trade on football which was his original plan, he told the New Experience Newspaper that the problem between Russia and Ukraine was political and Russia is peaceful.

“Putin is worried about the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) forces as a threat since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Although Ukraine hasn’t joined NATO countries, but Canada and the US have bolstered Ukraine’s military and have provided other resources in the country since 2014 because Russia invaded and took over Crimea (part of Ukraine) in 2014 and NATO saw that as a huge threat.
“Secondly Putin is saying that parts of Ukraine belong to Russia and wanted Ukraine to declare two parts of the country with Russia-speaking minorities the (Donbas) tribe of Donetsk and luhansk as independent from Ukraine, insisting that the people are separatist, meaning they want those areas to be their own country rather than part of Ukraine,” he stated.
He expressed concern that Russia was claiming that the country is helping to liberate those regions in the name of peace, adding that Putin had said Ukraine had made the regions go through enough pain and neglect and wanted independence for them.
Russia told Ukraine to let the people go or be given back to Putin’s Russia. The world knows that Russia built Ukraine before the breakaway Ukraine also wanted an alliance with the western world. But Russia refused because its relationship with the US and Ukraine would constitute a security risk to Russia, due to Russia and US’s power play in world politics and most importantly, the United Nations’ Security Council.
“Russian is stable because they got almost everything from China through train and because China didn’t join the rest of the world to support Ukraine in the war against Russia,” he said.
