MAJAN Invites Stakeholders To Commissioning Of Modern Secretariat

The Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (MAJAN) has concluded arrangements to formally commission its much-talked-about Secretariat in grand style.
President of MAJAN, Comrade Ray Ugochukwu, made this known in a statement issued on the MAJAN platform, adding that the inauguration, slated for Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 11:00 am prompt in Apapa, will be the best of its kind, as everything has been put in place to make the occasion a memorable one.
He disclosed that the secretariat, located on No 19, Calcutta Crescent has a standard newsroom, radio studio and conference room.
“MAJAN invites stakeholders and media colleagues from other associations to witness the remarkable event. Interestingly, MAJAN will also use the occasion to recognise reputable stakeholders, who have contributed tremendously to the growth of the country’s maritime industry,” the statement reads.
It would be recalled that MAJAN has been at the forefront of advocacy to make the Nigerian maritime industry a more prosperous one.
Its publication, the Powerful Pen Newspaper, which is also available on the online news platform has been a major tool used for constant advocacy for a better maritime industry in the country.
