Youths seek thorough probe of AGF, CAC offices’ infernos

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has sought a full-scale investigation into the fires that destroyed parts of the office of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) and the national headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Abuja.

In a statement by its president, Solomon Adodo, in Abuja, the body regretted the incidents “at a time the nation was battling to contain the novel coronavirus pandemic.”

The youths urged the Federal Government to remain committed in addressing the challenge posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring that all donations made towards this cause were judiciously and transparently applied.
