The Federal Government has been urged to institutionalise its social protection programmes for impact and sustainability.
An international organisation, Save the Children, said government could leverage the gains of the current administration’s social nets for continuity.
The Senior Social Protection Advisor of Save the Children International (SCI), Mrs. Sheila Nkunika, during an ongoing specialised Child Development Grant Programme (CDGP) Social Protection workshop for civil society organisations (CSOs) and the media yesterday in Kaduna, said such institutionalisation of social interventions accounted for the low level of poverty in developed nations.
