Chief Judge of Borno State, Justice Kashim Zannah, has warned that any judicial officer found indulging in corrupt practices would be sacked and prosecuted.
Zannah gave the warning while addressing participants at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Town Hall meeting on corruption held at Musa Usman Secretariat, Maiduguri.
His words: “If you are found in corrupt practices and it is established, we are not going to demote or transfer you, but will send you packing.”
According to him, establishing a corrupt case is fundamental in order not to jail innocent persons.
He, therefore, called on people to report any judicial officer to his office and the Public Complaints Committee (PCC).
