NISER urges effective SDGs’ financing to eradicate poverty

The Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) has called for effective financing of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to eradicate poverty in the country.

It, therefore, stressed the need to commit a percentage of the federal and states’ budgets to the implementation of the goals.

NISER made the appeal during its monthly lecture series delivered by a Senior Research Fellow in the Social Policy Department of the institute, Dr. Sunday Kolawole Alonge, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
