Cross River State government has said that about 54 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) were revived within four years to provide good healthcare for the people.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Inyang Asibong, made this known in Calabar, the state capital in an interview with Journalists.
Asibong, who was availing the press of her achievement since November 2015, said that was done to bring healthcare to the doorsteps of the people, especially those in the suburbs.
We have recorded tremendous achievement in the health sector under Governor Ben Ayade.
“For now, we have three functional PHCs in every council; this amounts to 54 revitalised centres across the state,” she said.
