National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has given the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) 48 hours within which to refund the N50 it charged candidates for checking their results.
In a statement issued by its National Senate President, Abdulmajeed Oladimeji, it said the association registered its displeasure at the recent destabilisation of JAMB under the leadership of its Registrar, Professor Ishaq Olanrewaju Oloyede.
He said Nigerian Students no longer have confidence in the board’s leadership, because it shows that it has only prepared to fail, as it left many Nigerians wondering about the recent developments, which although aimed at developing better examination principles and integrity, only achieved the reverse.
