SIFAX Group, UAE Explore Mutually Beneficial Partnerships Across Industries

The Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, has led a high-powered delegation of the conglomerate on a courtesy visit to the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates, UAE, in Lagos, as part of efforts to strengthen international business relationships and explore areas of collaboration.
The visit, which took place at the UAE Consulate in Lagos, focused on exploring potential areas of partnership between SIFAX Group and the UAE, identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial collaborations across various industries and deepening economic and business ties.
Dr. Afolabi was accompanied by top executives of SIFAX Group and its subsidiary, Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc, SAHCO.
Members of the delegation included Mr. Tobi Afolabi, Group Executive Director, Operations and Commercial, SIFAX Group; Mrs. Wunmi Eniola-Jegede, Group Coordinating Director, SIFAX Group; Mr. Olumuyiwa Akande, Group Head, Corporate Communications, SIFAX Group; Mr. Babatunde Afolabi, Executive Director, Business Development, SAHCO; and Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, Managing Director, SAHCO.
The team was received by His Excellency Salem Aljaberi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Lagos.
Discussions during the visit centred on opportunities for collaboration in key sectors including aviation, maritime, logistics, and other areas where both SIFAX Group and UAE interests align.
The engagement underscores SIFAX Group’s commitment to expanding its global footprint through strategic partnerships and fostering international cooperation that drives business growth and economic development.
The visit is expected to open new channels for dialogue and cooperation between the leading Nigerian conglomerate and business interests in the United Arab Emirates.
