State Sector Commander FRSC, Godwin Omiko, stated this in Gombe at a media briefing as part of activities to mark the 2019 United Nations (UN) Global Road Safety Week.

“A total of 57 crashes involving 91 vehicles, killing 30 persons while 245 persons were injured in the first quarter of 2019 and in the last quarter of 2018 reports of road traffic crashes shows that 71 crashes were reported involving 96 vehicles killing 30 persons while 218 were injured,” he said.
