A Celebration of Excellence: Ooni and Osoba to Present Awards at New Telegraph Ceremony

The New Telegraph Awards Night/Dinner is just around the corner, and the excitement is building. The event, which will take place at the Grand Ballroom of the Oriental Hotels, Lagos, promises to be an unforgettable night of recognition and celebration of excellence. The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has graciously accepted to be the Royal Father of the Day, while veteran journalist and former Governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, has agreed to be the Chairman of the event.

The New Telegraph Awards Night/Dinner is a high-octane event that brings together governors, captains of industry, banking and financial institutions, and executives from the public and private sectors, as well as sports personalities. Nine state governors have confirmed their attendance, and other awardees have expressed their delight and anticipation towards the event.

According to the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of the New Telegraph, Mr. Ayodele Aminu, the Ooni of Ife was chosen as the Royal Father of the Day due to his dedication to excellence and public good in his 10-year reign as the Paramount Ruler of the Yoruba Nation. Aminu also revealed that Aremo Osoba was chosen as the Chairman of the event due to his close association with the journalism profession and his commitment to excellence.
